Tell the conspirators 'Apa' is not coming back: Chattogram SP
SP Shantu has warned that those behind efforts to destabilise the movement had not stopped after 5 August

Chattogram Superintendent of Police (SP) Saiful Islam Shantu today (5 August) called for continued unity among those involved in the July uprising, urging them to remain alert against misinformation and internal division.
"Those who played a role in the July uprising must remain united. Inform the conspirators that 'Apa' is not coming back," he said, referring to former prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
He made the remarks at a reception and discussion meeting for families of martyrs and July fighters, organised by the Chattogram District Administration at the Circuit House premises.
SP Shantu warned that those behind efforts to destabilise the movement had not stopped after 5 August.
"They have vast amounts of money and are trying to confuse us. They are using artificial intelligence to incite one group against another. Their single objective is to break our unity from within. This is part of a cyber war where the public is being misled with false information," he said.
He urged attendees to be cautious of division, saying, "You must never misunderstand your brothers. Those who fought together, shoulder to shoulder, will remain united for life. No one will be able to defeat you."
"If you are not united, no one will be able to protect you. Along with you, we in the administration will have to face the same fate. If you want to establish an independent and sovereign state, if you want to protect the country from external enemies, then you must be united," the SP added.
The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam and attended by several government officials, including Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Md Ziauddin, Chattogram Range Police DIG Md Ahsan Habib Palash, and Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Hasib Aziz.
