TBS journos Sajjadur Rahman, Sakhawat Prince win DRU Best Reporting Award 2025
The Business Standard's Deputy Editor (Reporting) Sajjadur Rahman and Staff Correspondent Sakhawat Prince have won the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Best Reporting Award 2025 in the "print media" category.
Sajjadur was awarded for his report on the education sector titled "Degrees of despair; why university graduates can't find work."
Prince received the award in the financial sector (bank, insurance, capital market) category for his report titled "A company with a table, two chairs even got crores of loan: How IFIC was fleeced of Tk7,129cr."
The awards were handed over during the DRU-Nagad Best Reporting Award 2025 ceremony this morning (16 November) at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium in the capital's Segunbagicha.
The chief guest at the ceremony was Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed. Special guests included Nagad Chairman Kaiser Ahmed Chowdhury and Administrator Md Motasem Billah.
A total of 26 journalists were awarded for their reports in various categories.
