Two people were killed in separate road accidents at North Badda and Turag in Dhaka.

In the first incident, the deceased was identified as Shahirul, 45, a raw material trader and son of late Saidul Islam, who hailed from Kolmakanda Charikumarpara village of Netrokona.

Shahidul was critically injured by a bus under the foot over bridge of North Badda at around 7.00am on Sunday, said Shakil, a witness.

“Shahidul was identified from his national identity card,” he further informed.

In another sporadic incident, an unknown elderly woman,60, was killed as a bus of Ekata Paribahan collided into her in front of East West Medical College Hospital in Turag at around 11 pm on Saturday.

“She was rushed to DMCH, where doctors declared her dead,” a witness Sohag said.
