Puja celebration claims 8 lives in Khulna

Eight, including two siblings and a woman, died of drinking an excessive amount of alcohol while celebrating the end of Durga Puja in Khulna.
The deceased are Prasenjit Das, 29, and his brother Tapash Das, 32, Raju Biswas, 25, Sajal Shil, 26, Amit Shil,40 and Parimal Das (30), Dipto Das (22) and Indrani Biswas (25).
They were celebrating Bijaya Dashami on Tuesday night and drank uncontrolled amount of alcohol, locals said.

Doctors of Khulna Medical College Hospital said that the men were brought in on Wednesday morning. They all died of drinking too much alcohol.
