The five-member probe committee visited Sajek Valley, where a massive fire broke out and gutted nearly 100 resorts, restaurants, and houses in the valley, a popular tourist destination in Rangamati's Baghaichhari upazila.

During the visit, the committee's Convener and Deputy Director of Local Government Division Md Mobarak Hossain along with Member Secretary and Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shirin Akther were present.
