Voting is going on in four municipalities of the country through electronic voting machines (EVM).
Voting started at 8 am on Wednesday and will be continued till 4 pm.
The municipalities are - Jashore, Thakurgaon Sadar, Kalkini in Madaripur and Shibganj in Chapainabganj, reports Jago News.

Besides, by-polls are being held in two wards and general elections in the remaining two wards of these four municipalities.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has taken a policy decision not to hold the first phase of Union Parishad (UP) elections, which was scheduled to be held on 11 April, due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the country.
However, the matter will be finalised on Thursday.
