Tarique holds meeting with like-minded parties to discuss upcoming election
Tarique expressed hope that the upcoming election would pave the way for building a democratic and welfare-oriented Bangladesh through the people’s mandate.

BNP's acting chairperson Tarique Rahman held a meeting today (8 August) with leaders of the 12-Party Alliance, the Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), and the Bangladesh Labour Party to discuss the upcoming parliamentary election.
The meeting began at 4pm at the BNP Chairperson's Office in Gulshan.

Speaking virtually, Tarique said, "Through unity, a long struggle, and the July uprising, 'the fall of Awami fascism' was achieved."
He expressed hope that the upcoming election would pave the way for building a democratic and welfare-oriented Bangladesh through the people's mandate.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, among others, were present at the meeting.
