Outgoing French Envoy Masdupuy calls on Khaleda
Ambassador Masdupuy wished Khaleda Zia good health and reiterated that France would continue supporting Bangladesh’s progress in the future

French Ambassador to Dhaka, Marie Masdupuy, paid a farewell call on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence, Firoza, tonight (3 September).
BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said the meeting took place around 9pm.
He said BNP Standing Committee member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and Khaleda Zia's personal physician Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain were also present.
Neither side issued an official statement following the meeting.
However, sources said the discussions covered bilateral relations, the current political situation, and other matters of mutual interest.
As her tenure comes to an end, Ambassador Masdupuy wished Khaleda Zia good health and reiterated that France would continue supporting Bangladesh's progress in the future.
Khaleda Zia, in turn, expressed gratitude to France, stressing that the constructive role of the international community remains vital for the democracy and development of Bangladesh.
