One party trying to create divisions within BNP: Fakhrul
He also urged BNP leaders and activists to remain vigilant.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said a party is attempting to create divisions within the BNP.
Speaking to party activists today (15 November) after visiting the grave of the late Barrister Aminul Haque in Fazilpur village of Godagari upazila in Rajshahi, Fakhrul said that party seeks to benefit from the situation.
He also urged BNP leaders and activists to remain vigilant.
Fakhrul also said another party is trying to come to power. Based on past experience, he added, these people cannot bring meaningful change to the country or maintain law and order.
Mizanur Rahman Minu, BNP chairperson's adviser, and other party leaders were present at the event. Fakhrul later left for Chapainawabganj to attend a public meeting.
