NCP: Who are the top leaders of the new youth-led party

Leaders of the Student Against Discrimination and the Jatiya Nagorik Committee are set to officially venture into the Bangladeshi political arena under a new party - National Citizen Party (NCP) - set to be launched tomorrow (28 February).
The name of the party was revealed today (27 February) in Facebook posts on the pages of the Nagorik Committee and profiles of several SAD leaders.
They have also finalised the top positions of the party in a joint meeting of SAD and Nagorik Committee, sources confirmed to The Business Standard this evening.

Here are the top leaders of NCP as per meeting sources:
Convener: Nahid Islam, a key coordinator of SAD and a former adviser of the interim government, will lead the NCP
Member Secretary: Akhtar Hossain, another coordinator of SAD
Chief coordinator: Nasiruddin Patwari, convener of Jatiya Nagorik Committee
Chief organiser (Southern region): Hasnat Abdullah, convener of SAD
Chief organiser (Northern region): Sarjis Alam, chief organiser of Nagorik Committee
Senior Joint Convener: Samanta Sharmeen, who is the spokesperson for Jatiya Nagorik Committee
Office Secretary: Salehuddin Sifat, who is the co-spokesperson of Nagorik Committee
