Mirza Abbas calls for vigilance against conspirators
BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas today (23 March) urged the countrymen to be vigilant against conspirators who want to take the country backward.
"Those who are conspiring from within the country and from outside, should be exposed in the media, and the nation should be informed," he said at an iftar and doa mahfil programme in memory of the deceased photojournalists at the Bangladesh Photojournalists Association auditorium in Dhaka.
"We have fought for a long time, spent time in prison, and dreamed of a happy and prosperous Bangladesh. Those who are making various excuses to hinder the path to return to the democratic process have ill intentions, and the countrymen should be vigilant against them," he added.

The BNP leader also said the party will accept reform proposals only after political parties come to a consensus.
