Khaleda admitted to hospital for medical tests
Khaleda was last admitted to the same hospital on 15 October, where she stayed for a day to undergo routine health check-ups.
BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka tonight (23 November) for a series of medical examinations.
Her personal physician, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, confirmed the development, saying, "Following the advice of the medical board formed for madam [Khaleda], she has been admitted to Evercare Hospital for some tests. She is currently in a cabin."
He added that the next course of action will be decided after the medical board reviews the test results.
Earlier, Khaleda left her Gulshan residence Firoza for Evercare Hospital at around 7:30pm, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

The 80-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from various health complications for several years, including liver, kidney and heart-related issues.
Khaleda has been receiving treatment at her home in Gulshan under the care of a specialised medical board, which includes doctors from both Evercare Hospital and her personal team.
