July Charter, level playing field must before polls: Hasnat
He sacrificed 3 cows for families of July martyrs

Welcoming the election timeframe announced by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, National Citizen Party (NCP) leader Hasnat Abdullah has said the July Charter must be declared and a level playing field ensured before the polls.
"The date for the election announced by the chief adviser is positive. However, before that, the July Charter and its declaration must be finalised. A level playing field must also be ensured," he told the media in his home area of Debidwar, Cumilla, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha today.
Earlier on Friday, Chief Adviser Yunus addressed the nation, stating that the next national parliamentary election would be held on any day in the first half of April next year.
To honour the families of the 2024 July uprising martyrs, NCP Chief Organiser (South) Hasnat sacrificed three cows for Eid-ul-Adha.
Amid rain, he personally took the sacrificial meat to the families of the martyrs Rubel and Sabbir, also inquiring about their well-being.
During the visit, he said, "The martyrs of the July movement gave their lives to build the country. It is now our responsibility to fulfil that dream. We must all work together, above party lines and opinions, to protect the country's interests, just as the martyrs did."
