Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher today (7 May) exchanged views with Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.

The discussion was held in a very sincere and cordial atmosphere, said a press release, adding, "In the meeting, they discussed various national issues, including the political situation."

Both sides expressed hope for further opportunities to work more closely with the people and governments of the two countries.

They also hoped that such dialogues would continue in the future for the mutual interests of the two countries.

They also said the bilateral friendly relationship, development and progress of Bangladesh and China would be further strengthened in the coming days.
