Jamaat ameer visits Shishu Hospital to see measles-affected children

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Leader of the Opposition Shafiqur Rahman visited the Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute in Shyamoli this morning (18 April) to see children affected by measles.
Around 11am, he toured different sections of the hospital with on-duty doctors, inquired about the condition of patients, and listened to concerns related to treatment and facilities.
During the visit, he held a meeting with the hospital's management committee, director and physicians, where overall healthcare services and existing challenges were discussed.
He sought details on various issues and heard the concerns raised by hospital authorities. He later signed the hospital's inspection book.
Several leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami accompanied him during the visit, including central executive council members Saiful Alam Khan Milon and Mobarak Hossain, Dhaka North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin, and Dhaka North Secretary Muhammad Rezaul Karim, among others.
Earlier in the day, the ameer also inspected the Asad Gate petrol pump as part of his scheduled activities.
