Jahidul Islam has been elected as the central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir for the 2025 session.

Besides, Nurul Islam has been nominated as the secretary general.

Chhatrashibir Chief Election Commissioner and former central president Matiur Rahman Akand announced the names in the concluding session of Chhatrashibir's member conference in the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan today (31 December).

From 29 December 7pm to 30 December 8pm, the voting for Chhatrashibir central presidential election was held online. As per the constitution of Chhatrashibir, the central president nominated Nurul Islam as the secretary general after consultation with the executive council of 2024 session.

Jahidul Islam completed his graduation and post-graduation from the English Department at Jagannath University. He is currently pursuing an MBA in the HRM Department at a private university.

Nurul Islam completed his graduation and post-graduation from the Department of Economics from Khulna University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in the HRM Department at Dhaka University.
