Fascist Hasina spent people's money for her own interest: Rizvi
Rizvi described the July Uprising as an epic event, saying that everyone who was killed, injured, or participated in it is a historical figure

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi remarked that the fallen fascist Sheikh Hasina had spent the country's public funds for her personal gain.
"While in power, Sheikh Hasina spent public funds for her own benefit. This created resentment among the people," he said during the premiere of the documentary '36th July' at the Bengal Multimedia Studio in Tejgaon, Dhaka today (21 August).
Regarding the poets and artists who mourned on 15 August, he said that the so-called poets, writers, and actors, mourned on the day as they choose fascism out of greed for material gain.
The previous fascist government gave the position of the highest-ranking police officer as a reward for writing a book about the founder of a political party. In the same way, flats were given to stars of the art and culture world, the veteran BNP leader added.
Rizvi described the July Uprising as an epic event, saying that everyone who was killed, injured, or participated in it is a historical figure.
"The July movement is the collective expression of all rebellions," he went on saying.
