Don't create confusion with new demands, unite to save country: Fakhrul
“Please save the country. Do not create division anymore. Do not confuse people by raising different demands,” he said

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has urged political groups not to create division or confuse the public with new demands, calling instead for unity to "save the country."
"Please save the country. Do not create division anymore. Do not confuse people by raising different demands," he said today (15 October) while addressing a views‑exchange meeting with local leaders and activists at Gareya Bot Toli Bazar in Thakurgaon Sadar upazila.
Referring to debates over Jamaat and the issue of their referendum proposal, Fakhrul argued that the BNP had experience in governing and delivering reforms.
"We were in government in the past. The BNP knows how to run a government and how to do good work," he said, "We are going to parliament. We are contesting elections. That is the BNP's achievement. We also introduced multi‑party democracy."
Outlining electoral pledges, he said the BNP would create employment for ten million unemployed people if voted to power.
"Every family will receive a 'family card'. With that card, anyone going to a chairman or member will be entitled to services," he added.
"We will improve healthcare, increase allocations for education, prioritise technical education, and modernise agriculture," he further said.
Calling for religious harmony, Fakhrul said, "Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians — together we are Bangladesh. We do not want to separate anyone. We want unity, not division. Together we must move the country forward."
He urged voters to set aside differences in the upcoming national election and cast their ballots for the BNP.
