Cucsu polls campaign ends with festive atmosphere
Campaigners thronged academic buildings, dormitories, and halls from early morning, rallying supporters

Chittagong University's campus was vibrant today (13 October) as candidates made their final push for votes ahead of the 15 October Cucsu election.
Campaigners thronged academic buildings, dormitories, and halls from early morning, rallying supporters.
"We're racing against time, but the response has been tremendous," said Ibrahim Hossain Roni, vice-president candidate from the Sampriti Student Alliance.
Md Shafayat Hossain, general secretary candidate from the Chhatra Dal, added, "We campaigned across faculties and spoke with students at the station. Everyone is out in force until the very last moment."
Candidates vowed to fight for student rights, improve transport and housing facilities, and strengthen campus security.
According to the election schedule, campaigning must stop 24 hours before polling begins. With that deadline reached, CU's campus now braces for one of its most closely watched Cucsu elections in years.
