BNP's Salahuddin urges govt to be stricter in controlling law and order situation

BNP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Ahmed has called on the interim government to control the law and order situation with a strong hand amid the recent unrest across the country.
"Maintain peace and order. Do not take part in any provocative action," he said urging the interim government while speaking to reporters at the Cox's Bazar airport today (7 February).
"If an anarchic situation arises in the country, we may face obstacles in the path of democracy and the democratic process in the future," the BNP leader said after arriving in Cox's Bazar this evening.
