BNP to take legal action against fake social media accounts impersonating Zubaida, Zaima: Rizvi
The fake accounts were created using Zubaida and Zaima’s names and corresponding photos

The BNP will take legal action against fake social media accounts spreading propaganda against its acting chairperson Tarique Rahman's wife Dr Zubaida Rahman, and their daughter Zaima Rahman by impersonating them.
The fake accounts were created using Zubaida and Zaima's names and corresponding photos.
Warning against the propaganda at a press conference at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan in Dhaka today (5 June), BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said Zubaida and Zaima do not have any social media accounts, reports BSS.
Claiming that a group is hatching a conspiracy using the names of the Zia family members, the senior BNP leader said, "We will take legal action against it. The law enforcement agencies are not taking any action to stop those evils."
Rizvi also said, "There is no place for spreading lies in a democratic society. Even if attempts are made to strengthen the culture of lies by taking advantage of technology, it will be rejected by the people."
