BNP Standing Committee to hold meeting tonight

The BNP's Standing Committee is set to hold a meeting tonight (17 November), which will be chaired virtually from London by acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
The meeting will begin at 8:30pm at the BNP chairperson's office in the capital's Gulshan, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed to The Business Standard.
The meeting comes after the International Crimes Tribunal sentenced ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to death today in a case over crimes against humanity committed during last year's July Uprising.
