Activists of banned Awami League brought out a procession in the capital's Bijoy Sarani area this afternoon (7 September).
The march began around 1:45pm from under the Bijoy Sarani Metrorail Station and concluded at Khamar Bari, along the road leading to the Parliament House.
Confirming the incident, Tejgaon Police Station OC Mobarak Hossain told TBS that a group of Awami League activists carried out the procession.

He said police later arrested former Chhatra League leader Sirajul Islam of Madaripur's Shibchar from the area and seized a banner from him.
