At least 15 activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal's Jagannath University unit were injured in an attack allegedly by Bangladesh Chhatra League activists on the campus on Thursday.

Rafikul Islam, president of Chhatra Dal's university unit, said they came under attack around 9am when they brought out a procession on the campus demanding release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Some Chhatra League activists chased them when they reached Shanto Chattar of the university and caught some their activists at the main entrance and beat them up mercilessly, he said.
