The traffic Mirpur division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has called for volunteers to assist in managing traffic in several key areas.
The initiative, called the Traffic Assistant Group (TAG), encourages citizens to participate as traffic volunteers to address ongoing traffic problems.
The areas under the Mirpur division where volunteers are needed include Kalyanpur, Technical, Gabtoli, Mazar Road, Darus Salam, Mirpur-1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 14, Kalshi, Kachukhet, Kazipara, Shewrapara, and Pallabi.
In a Facebook post, the Traffic Mirpur Division stated, "Those interested in working as traffic volunteers can sign up by providing their name and address via a Google Form. It's important to note that this is a completely voluntary activity driven by social responsibility, with no financial incentives involved."
