PM visits parents’ graves, offers prayers
Standing beside the graves with his family members, Tarique Rahman recited Surah Al-Fatiha and offered munajat, seeking eternal peace for their souls.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today (21 March) visited the graves of his parents after exchanging Eid greetings at the State Guest House Jamuna.
In the afternoon, he went to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and offered fateha at the graves of his father, former president Ziaur Rahman, and his mother, former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The prime minister was accompanied by his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman; his daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman; Syeda Shameela Rahman, wife of his late brother Arafat Rahman Koko; and her two daughters, Zahia Rahman and Zafia Rahman.

He later placed a wreath at the graves on behalf of BNP as the party's chairman.
