Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation this evening marking Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year 1429.

She will deliver her speech around 7:30pm, said Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim Wednesday (13 April) morning.

State-owned Bangladesh Television and private television channels will broadcast the speech.
