One arrested over Jatrabari human haulier driver murder case
The arrestee, Sohan Munshi, 29, was named in the first information report (FIR) filed over the killing of Md Nure Alam Islam, also known as Khairul, 35.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested an accused in connection with the killing of a human haulier driver in the capital's Jatrabari area.

Confirming the matter today (22 February), RAB-10 Assistant Director (Media) Tapas Karmakar said Sohan Munshi was arrested during a special drive conducted around 7:30pm yesterday in the Kutubkhali fish market area under Jatrabari Police Station.
Sohan has been handed over to the concerned police station for further legal proceedings, the RAB official added.
Earlier, at around 2:45pm on Friday (20 February), Sohan Munshi and his associates allegedly assaulted the driver in a premeditated attack following a dispute over the vehicle's serial at the Jatrabari-to-Chittagong Road leguna stand.
The victim sustained critical injuries in the attack and was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
