Dr Khandoker Miraz shared insights from his extensive research work and emphasised the critical need for innovative approaches in dealing with both cancerous and infectious diseases. He talked about the challenges during completing his PhD. Later on he talked about his extensive research in Antibody Drug Conjugated cancer therapy.

"It is important to develop a drug that is not toxic for the body and doesn't get involved with cardiac health," he said.

He also shared his insights on antimicrobial drugs and debunked the myths regarding the use of efflux pump in such drug formulation.

Speaking at the event, Professor Dr Mohammad Hossain Shahriar, chairman of NSU's Pharmaceutical Department, underscored the importance  of bridging the gap between academia and industry.
