Adviser Asif Mahmud takes part in masters admission test at North South University

Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, adviser to the ministries of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and Youth and Sports, took part in the written test for admission to a masters programme at North South University (NSU) in Dhaka today (25 April).
He took part in the admission test for the Summer 2025 session of 'Executive Masters in Policy and Governance (EMPG)' programme under the South Asian Institute of Policy Governance (SIPG) of the university, the institute wrote in a post on its Facebook page.
"We appreciate his enthusiasm to learn about policy and governance while serving as an adviser in two ministries. At SIPG, we have a unique blend of academicians & practitioners to teach public policy and governance," reads the post.
Photos of Asif Mahmud taking part in the admission test went viral on social media and netizens mostly responded positively.
