Beware of fake 100 taka note
The central bank asked everyone not to share such confusing photos on the social media

An image of a fake Tk100 note featuring pictures of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the Bangabandhu satellite has gone viral on Facebook.
The Bangladesh Bank issued a press release on Tuesday saying that it has not issued any such Tk100 note and that the note is fake.
The central bank asked everyone not to share such confusing photos on the social media. It also asked the law enforcement agencies to arrest and punish those responsible for this incident.
