New Governor of Rotary Md Rubayet Hossain to take charge tomorrow

Rotarian Md Rubayet Hossain is going to take over charge of District Governor of Rotary from tomorrow. 

He will be leading Rotary Bangladesh which included 240 Rotary Clubs with more than 6,700 Rotarians. This is regarded as one of the biggest Rotary in the world, according to a press release.

Governor Rubayet, popularly known for his creativity and foresightedness, has taken the theme of this year's Rotary International President Holger Knaack from Germany "Rotary Opens Opportunities."

He has already begun to turn the crisis into opportunities. He established Telemedicine Service called, "Rotary Medical Support Center" for general treatment, with a pool of 40+ doctors of a different discipline.

He has also introduced "Meals Everyday" program for the destitute hungry people, who can't work due to the Covid-19 crisis. By this time, more than 50,000 cooked food pack have been distributed and tomorrow will be distributing 30,000 packs in a single day. Both programs will be continuing until the crisis is over.

New Governor has started his journey by making his team used to online tools and arranged all the Rotary International mandatory training programs on ZOOM platform quite successfully. 5 topmost world Rotary leaders joined those trainings virtually and 3 more will be joining tomorrow's ceremony.

Besides this, he is going to create historical mark with the contribution from 100%club Presidents for distressed people to The Rotary Foundation in the Year Launching Ceremony on 1stof July 2020. To help coping with the treatment of the Covid-19 patients, he is working to established Oxygen & Plasma banks at different places of Bangladesh.
