New DCs appointed in 4 districts

The interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in four districts — Chattogram, Chapainawabganj, Feni, and Madaripur.

According to the circular signed by Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam, Feni Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam has been transferred to Chattogram as the new DC.

The ministry also cancelled an earlier order, issued on 21 September, appointing Naogaon DC Mohammad Abdul Awal as Chattogram DC.
Meanwhile, Monira Haque, deputy secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, has been appointed as the new DC of Feni.
Mohammad Solaiman, deputy secretary of the Power Division, has been appointed as the Chapainawabganj DC, while Afsana Bilkis, deputy secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, has been made the DC of Madaripur.
