Nari O Shishu Odhikar Forum, a pro-BNP platform, has staged a sit-in programme protesting against the incidents of sexual harassment, rape and torture across the country.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was the chief guest at the programme held in front of the National Press Club on Thursday.

Mirza Fakhrul said, "Nari O Shishu Odhikar Forum (Women and Child Rights Forum) has spread a new hope among the women of the country. There is no time to sit idle at home. Everyone needs to stand against the rapists. We have to build resistance against them all over the country."
