Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall likely in Dhaka, 3 other divisions
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast moderately heavy to heavy rainfall in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions in the next 24 hours starting from 9am today (16 June).
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," it said.
Besides, a mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia and Khulna and it may continue.
