Mob in any form won't be tolerated: DMP commissioner
Action will be taken if any police officer is found guilty of mishandling a mob situation, he says

Mob action in any form will no longer be tolerated, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali said today (24 June).
"The instigators of mob violence will be brought to book," he said while responding to a question after attending a programme at the DMP Headquarters.
The DMP chief also said that action will be taken if any police officer is found guilty of mishandling a mob situation.
He said one person has already been arrested in connection with the mob that formed during the arrest of former chief election commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda from his residence in Uttara on Sunday evening.
The process of filing a case in this regard is underway, he added.
