MGH extends hand to conflict-hit Cambodian families
Delivers food, medicine, and mental health support in Preah Vihear as part of CSR drive
In the remote, conflict-struck province of Preah Vihear in Cambodia, 300 families recently displaced by border skirmishes with Thailand received critical humanitarian aid, thanks to an initiative by MGH Group.
In a statement today (3 August), the group said a team of MGH volunteers, from the company's Phnom Penh operations, travelled to the affected area with trucks loaded with dry food, essential medicines, and, perhaps most importantly, emotional and mental support.
The effort, part of MGH Group's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, was carried out in coordination with local authorities and healthcare providers, ensuring aid reached those most in need.
"We are humbled to have the privilege granted to us by the local government and hospitals to support in any way we can," said Mohammad Ahsanuzzaman, director and COO of MGH Group. "At MGH, we believe that humanity and peace should prevail above all, and our actions must reflect these values."
Headquartered in Singapore, MGH Group operates in Cambodia through MGH Healthcare, Transmarine Logistics (Cambodia) Ltd, and One World Aviation — serving sectors ranging from shipping and logistics to healthcare and aviation.
