Shahbagh flower market fire brought under control

The fire which broke out at the flower market in the capital's Shahbagh has been brought under control.
Five units of the fire service worked to douse the flames, Duty Officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters Rakibul Islam told The Business Standard.
He said the fire was reported at 9:53pm.
It was brought under control an hour later.

The fire was completely doused at 11:20pm, said Kazi Najmuzzaman, assistant director of Dhaka Fire Service and Civil Defence.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be known yet.
