Man's body found stuffed in sack in Narayangan
Police suspect that miscreants killed the man and dumped the body in the ditch to conceal the crime.
Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man stuffed inside a sack from a ditch near the Kaikartek Bridge in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj today (14 October).
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sonargaon Police Station, Rashedul Hasan, said, "Initial investigation suggests it is a murder case."
"The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy. Efforts are underway to identify the victim", he added.

According to police, locals spotted the sack this afternoon after noticing a foul smell coming from the ditch. Finding the situation suspicious, they informed Sonargaon Police Station.
Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene, retrieved the sack, and found the body of a young man inside. A rope was wrapped around his neck, and there were multiple injury marks on his body, police said.
