The one million Rohingyas from Myanmar who joined the vast population of Bangladesh, there has to be a quick solution to this
Finance Minister Mustafa Kamal has called on the countries with high carbon emission rate to play a leading role in leaving a better world for the future generations.
The minister made the call on Wednesday at the 18th Steering Committee Meeting on the "Global Partnerships for Effective Development Co-operation" in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
He said, "It is our responsibility to leave a beautiful world for tomorrow. To do this, we have to solve the country-specific problems and take measures to improve education, health and social infrastructure around the world. We must create a world free of hunger and poverty."

The minister also talked about the Rohingya issue, saying, "One has to look at the unusual problems imposed on a country as well. For example, the one million Rohingyas from Myanmar who joined the vast population of Bangladesh, there has to be a quick solution to this."
Kamal emphasised strong participation of all to achieve the goal of ensuring a safe and secure world, and also effective and active role of all those who provided development assistance and support along with political will.
