The government has appointed a new divisional commissioner in Rajshahi and new deputy commissioners (DCs) in Natore, Gaibandha and Rangpur districts.

Md Yusuf Ali, member-director (additional secretary) of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation, has been appointed as the new divisional commissioner of Rajshahi.

Deputy Secretary at the Posts and Telecommunications Division Sumoni Akter has been appointed DC of Natore, Md Moniruzzaman, private secretary to the Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, has been appointed DC of Gaibandha and deputy secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Israt Jahan has been appointed the new DC of Rangpur.
On Tuesday night (18 August), Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner ANM Bazlur Rashid was attached to the Ministry of Public Administration for subsequent posting.
Meanwhile, Natore DC Asma Shaheen, Gaibandha DC Mohammad Masudur Rahman Mollah and Rangpur DC Mohammad Ruhul Amin were attached to the Ministry of Public Administration for subsequent posting.
