Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that law enforcement agencies are keeping an eye on the disappearance of Islamic Preacher Md Afsanul Adnan, popularly known as Abu Taw Haa Muhammad Adnan.

Taw Haa's whereabouts will be revealed, said the minister while speaking to reporters at the six-month basic training concluding parade of Ansar and Battalion Ansar of the village defence force at Safipur in Gazipur on Wednesday morning.

Abu Taw Haa and his three companions reportedly went missing last Thursday, claimed his family members.

Adnan's mother Azeda Begum filed a general diary in this regard, said Abdur Rashid, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station of Rangpur Metropolitan Police.

According to Azeda Begum, Adnan, 31, lives with his family in Rangpur city.

However, her son occasionally goes to different mosques in the country to give sermons on Friday besides teaching Arabic online.

Adnan left Rangpur for Dhaka in a rented car at around 4 pm on Thursday to give a sermon at a mosque in Dhaka on Friday.

Adnan was accompanied by Abdul Muhith, Firoz and the driver Amir Uddin Fayez.
