The procedures to release BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail will be started anytime today, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
Earlier, he said Khaleda Zia will be released following all the administrative procedures.
"The procedures might be finished today," the home minister said earlier, reports Somoy TV.

Earlier Tuesday, the government decided to release Khaleda Zia from jail – suspending her prison term for six months.
The law ministry, in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure, sent a recommendation to the home ministry in this regard.
Khaleda can receive home treatment during this period but cannot go abroad, said Anisul.
