Khaleda Zia returns home from hospital after health checkup
The BNP secretary general and other leaders and activists were present at the hospital

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia returned home after undergoing a health checkup at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka yesterday (28 August).
She left for Evercare Hospital in the Bashundhara Residential Area from her Gulshan residence and reached the hospital at around 8:20pm.
The BNP secretary general and other leaders and activists were present at the hospital.
After the checkup, she reached home at about 11:45pm, said BNP Media Cell Member Shairul Kabir Khan.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia went to London for advanced treatment on 8 January. After undergoing treatment at a London clinic for 17 days, Khaleda Zia was under treatment at her son Tarique Rahman's home from 25 January under the supervision of the London Clinic's specialist doctors Professor Patrick Kennedy and Professor Jennifer Cross.
The former prime minister returned to the country on 6 May after undergoing advanced treatment in London, UK. After arriving in Dhaka, a medical board under the supervision of Evercare Hospital's specialist doctor Professor Shahabuddin Talukder provided her with medical services at her home.
Khaleda Zia, 80, has been suffering from various physical ailments for a long time.
