July Oikya demands justice for uprising killings, fascism-free administration, July Declaration

July Oikya, a platform comprising nearly 100 organisations, has demanded justice for the killings during the 2024 July uprising, a fascism-free administration, and issuance of the July Declaration within a fixed timeframe.
The demands were voiced at a rally held in front of the National Museum in the capital's Shahbagh today (25 May).
Speakers at the rally urged all July uprising-aligned forces to remain united in the face of alleged conspiracies from India.
Mosaddeq Ali Ibn Mohammad, organiser of July Oikya, said, "Certain advisers of the interim government are working to strengthen fascist Awami League rather than dismantle it. Instead of preserving the unity built against Awami fascism and Indian dominance during July and August, some of these advisers are now sowing division among the July-aligned forces."
