The election commission for Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (Jucsu) elections has decided to prepare photo-based voter list for the upcoming Jucsu and hall union polls.
Professor Rashidul Alam, proctor and member of the election, announced the decision in a press conference held at the JU Senate building today (27 August).
"We have already sent letters regarding this to the relevant authorities. Photographs will soon be attached to the draft voter list.

"We are trying to finalise the photo-based voter list before the election so that it can be used to ensure proper identification," he said.
