According to the notices, under Section 5(6) of the university's 2018 disciplinary ordinance, any form of teasing, ragging, or harassment inside halls, departments, or on campus is strictly prohibited.
"Ragging is defined as a punishable offence, with penalties ranging up to permanent expulsion depending on the severity of the act," the administration said.
"Similarly, under Section 5(da) of the same ordinance, students are strictly barred from consuming, possessing, or trading any domestic or foreign narcotics, including alcohol, cannabis, phensedyl, heroin, yaba, or other illegal substances, within the campus, departments, institutes, or halls."
