Speaking at the event, the adviser said that the postcard titled "Notes on July" will allow people from all walks of life to express their opinions.

He hoped that a large number of people will share their memories and views related to the July mass uprising through the postcards, saying these postcards will be preserved with due importance.

Mentioning that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its subordinate offices and agencies are actively engaged in marking the anniversary of the July mass uprising, the adviser said in addition to implementing centrally undertaken initiatives, the ministry has also taken several independent measures.

He called upon all concerned to work sincerely for the implementation of these initiatives.

Regarding field-level activities for the anniversary, he said that the district information offices are carrying out various programmes, including documentary screenings, poster distribution, and exhibitions.

The adviser emphasised the importance of implementing all activities related to the anniversary of the July Mass Uprising on time.

Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana, along with heads of departments and agencies under the ministry, were present at the event.
