Hyatt Palace Dhaka Uttara debuts as the global chain's first hotel in Bangladesh
The hotel is built with business travellers in mind, particularly those in the garments and import–export sectors
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially landed in Bangladesh with the launch of its first Hyatt Place in the capital's Uttara area today (19 November).
The hotel, just a kilometre away from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, promises to bring international luxury and convenience to the capital.
The 85-room hotel will offer guests to choose from King, Twin and Runway View rooms; enjoy all-day dining at their restaurant, Zing; quick bites at 'The Market', or sip cocktails at the rooftop Zing Skybar while watching planes take off against a sunset backdrop, according to a press release.
The hotel is built with business travellers in mind, particularly those in the garments and import–export sectors. It features a banquet hall, meeting rooms, and dining spaces that can host up to 200 guests, combining practicality with style.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Thomas McIntyre, general manager of Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara, said that the hotel aims to redefine hospitality in one of Dhaka's fastest-growing commercial hubs.
"We are proud to introduce Hyatt Place to one of Dhaka's most commercially significant and rapidly developing zones," he said.
McIntyre also added that the hotel's strategic location offers quick access to the airport and major industrial areas, while its modern design and 24-hour service ensure comfort and productivity.
"As the first internationally branded upscale hotel in Uttara, Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara will set new standards, offering business travellers, corporate guests and international visitors a reliable and elevated stay," he said.
With a dynamic mix of modern amenities, stunning views, and business-ready facilities, Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara is aiming to position itself as the city's new hotspot for both travellers and local visitors.
