A mobile court on Tuesday (27 August) seized huge relief goods from the Paikgacha residence of former member of parliament of the Khulna-6 constituency (Paikgachha-Koyra) Rashiduzzaman Morol.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paikgachha police station Md Obaidur Rahman said, a mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Iftekharul Islam, also the assistant commissioner (AC-Land) of Paikgachha upazila, conducted a drive at the residence of former MP Rashiduzzaman Morol at Agarghata area of the upazila.

The mobile court seized 230 sacks of rice, oil, sugar and edible oil from the residence, OC said, adding that the relief goods were sent to the relief office in Khulna.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Ashim Kumar Das, Project Implementation Officer Imrul Kayes, District Food Officer Hasibur Rahman and members of the law enforcement agencies were present at that time.
